Antich Rocha was a Spanish mathematician, physician and philosopher who was a Professor at the University of Barcelona. While exact dates for him are unknown, he flourished in the sixteenth century. His Arithmetica of 1565 is a rather comprehensive text considering arithmetic, algebra, and French bookkeeping practices.

At the beginning of the book, Rocha gave a list of the authors whose works he knew of and built upon.
