Mathematical Treasure: Philip Lansberge's Astronomical Tables and Quadrant

Philip Lansberge (1561-1632) was a Dutch Calvinist minister, a mathematician, and an astronomer. A fervent Copernican, Lansberge published several books on astronomy, including the set of astronomical tables, Tabulae motuum coelestium perpetuae (1632):
