The work that Gaspard Monge (1746–1818) did on descriptive and differential geometry remained of interest long after his death. This is the title page from an 1850 edition of his Applications de L’Analyse a la Géométrie:

The full work has been scanned for e-rara by ETH-Bibliothek Zürich. Pages from an 1809 edition are available in Convergence.

In 1900, a German translation of Monge’s writings prior to1798 was published as Darstellende Geometrie (Descriptive Geometry).
