Mathematical Treasure: Cajori’s History of Limits and Fluxions

Florian Cajori (1859-1930) was the first prominent historian of mathematics in the United States. One of his most interesting books is A History of the Conceptions of Limits and Fluxions from Newton to Woodhouse, published by Carus in 1919.

The scope of this history is supplied by the entrees in the “Table of Contents.”
