Mathematical Treasure: Alessandro Marchetti’s Problemata sex à Leidensi quodam surveyor Christophoro Sadlerio
Alessandro Marchetti (1633–1714) was an Italian mathematician and humanist. In 1675 he published a collection of problems: Problemata sex à Leidensi quodam surveyor Christophoro Sadlerio missa ab hoc verò Germanis, Italisq. mathematicis proposita (Six problems sent to Christopher Sadlerius, a certain surveyor of Leyden, by this true German, Italian for mathematical purposes).
